Playing AGCEEP as England, I want to win the Hundred Years War. What is the most effective way to do it? Which event choices to choose? Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance

It is somewhat difficult to win unless you do really well at the start while Henry V is still alive. After that the events and leaders of the French are designed to have you lose.Kriszo said:Well, I'm really a noob, I can't win the damned war![]()
Spread your army around and try to occupy as many provinces as possible.Kriszo said:Well, I'm really a noob, I can't win the damned war![]()
But with France you'll have an easier time going reformed!Mr Me said:Losing the HYW isn't too bad for England though as you will have less problems if you want to convert to protestantism and you can still become a world power through trade and colonies.
And that's the true litmus test of success in EU2Sleepyhead said:But with France you'll have an easier time going reformed!![]()
In AGCEEP winning equals gaining French culture.jayswimmer said:How do you guys define 'winning' the HYW? Making them vassals? I am playing AGCEEP and did fairly well capturing provinces. However, my resulting BB points were so high that I couldn't keep from being attacked on all fronts no matter how much I shored up my relations.
Plus, I discovered in AGCEEP that I'm prevented from communicating directly with Brittany (and Aragon) early on, so I was never able to claim Brittany as a vassal.
Does it still include cores on France, too?Sleepyhead said:In AGCEEP winning equals gaining French culture.
Most of it IIRC, although not everything.Jayavarman said:Does it still include cores on France, too?
Quint said:Plus it gives you major BB
Thats only for inheriting a nation that it costs that little.Mr Me said:It gives you 0.25 bb/province I think. Now if that's major for you...![]()
