Humble feature requests for new expansion or possible sequel

I think Rome is the best paradox game ever (CKII is not out yet, but even then we'll have to see) and i reckon it deserves a wishlist thread. So i start off with this one:

Ability to start trade route creation dialogue right from the ledger from the province list page (with all the important information in there already).

Also on the other end - trade route creation panel expanded and crucial information added (on top of the good itself and value of the route), like: religion, tax, manpower and research. With appropriate sort list buttons as well obviously. It's very important to know with certain goods and is quite a pain at the moment.

Thank you very much for The Game and for last patch as well. Please don't abandon Rome!

That Rome still is, after all this years, under the Current Games-section can't be a bad sign, maybe Johan and Paradox are up to something...

But the game has been out for a couple of years now and could use a good update with a new expansion that adds things from other games that has advanced, like EU3 (and CK2!). The graphics good relly use a good update since already in a review in Gamereactor (back in -08) it was stated that the graphics was outdated.

I might be weird/old-fashioned but i like clear Rome graphics much more than new foggy DW/Sengoku/CKII one. The new engine is like going to the Jominian direction rather than Clausewitz II it seems. At least in the graphics department.

This would be my wish to the list actually: please paradox don't ruin the graphics for Rome sequel.

One thing that immediately jumps to my mind is Impassable Terrain.

Added with Sengoku.

Impassable Terrain seems like a no brainer, think of Hannibal crossing the Alps.

please, rome II with at least the whole eurasia and africa... Rome is still my favorite game by far... Been playing EUIII while I wait for rome II, not too impressed with CKII for now... Oh and I think the holding system of CKII would work great for Rome

Rome II on the updated and beefed up Clausewitz incorporating CKII features would surely be glorious. Really hoping it'll happen.

Yeah, I agree. Some of the mechanics of CK2 are absolutely perfect for a Rome sequel. Battles with a left, right, and center? Yes, please.

I want all the character depth of CK2 applied to republics in Rome 2.

I really miss friends and rivals. Even if they just would be the exception to give relationship +/- both ways. There could also be relations with more dominant side with groupie. In that case the relationship bonus would be different from one side to the other (the powerful emperor would care less about that attention seeking count, but would still be friends).
