HTTT- Worth Getting?

Is HTTT worth buying? I assumed so during the run-up to the release, but now I am hearing a lot of criticism from people. Are these just minor issues in an essentially good game, or should I consider leaving it until a few patches are done or skipping this one all together?

I have IN currently.

I say it's more historical, but it needs a patch for fixing some bugs.

HTTT is a lot better than IN. The new features are great and the AI is smarter and more opportunistic. It needs some balancing, but even unpatched it's a step forward.

If you enjoy IN you should enjoy HttT more.

Indeed, HT³ is a great addition to EU3. Its defiantly worth getting because it creates more depth to diplomacy.

Countries expand ahistorically quickly. It's too easy to unify the HRE. But it sure as hell is fun.

(And you shouldn't pay the complaints too much mind. People *always* fill the forum with complaints when a new Paradox game or expansion comes out. Whether or not the game merits it.)

Worth it. As it was, I was pretty much done with EU3 and had moved on, but HTTT gave new life to it.

Deffo a good buy, yes some tweaking is needed - but only tweaking. It is a very playable expansion.

Its a must buy if you enjoy EUIII. There are some issues but they are ones that will easily be fixed in patches and its alot of fun to play even with the issues.

It also makes playing as France fun! I am currently getting bumped around by Burgandy and England at the same time!

Very fun game. Very well worth it. The only thing I am concerned about is the HRE. Its one of the very few things that need alittle bit of a tweek.

I think it was well worth the 20$. I have sunk maybe 10-20 hours into it already. Thats a lot of entertainment for my $. I had done everything I wanted with IN.

As to people's complaints. People are just complainers. Could it be better sure. And if a frog had wings it wouldn't bump its ass while it hopped. There is nothing broken about it that I have seen.

Through 125 years of one game I have seen zero major issues. Did have some CBs mysteriously disappear, but that is about it (I had a subjugate France mission, and it said if I decline it I would lose my Sub CB, but then I lost it after a few months anyway without declining and had to get a different CB to complete the mission).

HRE does seem to form pretty quickly, I thought that was theoretically supposed to be a rare event?

Game is in almost every aspect better then IN, and with patch already in beta, it is "must have".

The most things run very fine. Just the HRE is formed too quickly. Overall HttT is a huge improvement and definitely a must have. Nobody will talk about NA or IN anymore in the future.
