It works just perfectly to buy it on gamersgate, install in a random folder and move all the files from the install folder to steam/steamapps/common/eu3 or what ever your search path is.
i don't care, i have half life 2, css, team fortress 2, champions online, aion, heart of iron 3 and 2, europa universalis complete, europa universalis rome and expansion on steam... it's just more easy to have all of them on one single platform...
i just want to know if paradox gave them the files so i know who is to blame, paradox or steam (if it's steam there is no reason to whine here, i'll do it with steam support)
You can still have it on steam and start it through steam. The shortcut is still there and it works just fine. I help my roomie with this yesterday.
Just to give you a small update:
Steam, Impulse and Direct2Drive are all working on getting the game up. We always recommend sending a friendly e-mail letting them know you are waiting for it when there's a delay - more demand, higher priority etc. As you've noticed, there's quite a few games releasing in December. As far as pricing go it should be the same across the board as we have a suggested retail price.
Kind regards
