So yeah, what's with the non-option of the "Get an heir, 0 Papal Influence" or "0 Papal Influence"?

Your heir will be a bastard son with a maid and have a weak claim to the throne. If you wait, you might have a normal offspring with an average or strong claim. It has it's downfall, that's for sure.

Yeh... My only real problem with the new messages are

1) I don't always get the movie or song references

2) Yes, It looks more like a mod than official content compared to other events

3) The meaning of each message is sort of vague.

If I recall correctly, I got this event when I already had an heir. So the choice becomes "Replace your heir with a (Potentially better) bastard, or not?"
