HTTT is awesome so far. Just had to get that out of the way.
Now, my problem. I'm playing as England (not a big EU3 player, so I figure it's good to start with the fairly big countries), and Castille claimed my throne and became my senior partner in a personal union. I realise that I probably should have broken the royal marriage before they could do this (would this have even helped?), but no matter.
The problem is that I can't seem to get out of the union at all. Castillian kings and queens have come and gone, yet I'm still stuck as the junior partner. It made for an interesting (read: frustrating) war when France DOWed me and I led the alliance - I couldn't even sue for peace since I was the junior partner until Castille had formed her own separate peace. The war lasted for almost a decade and ended with a white peace...
So, how does one break a personal union?
