Is it just me. or is it a little to easy to get a Casus Belli in HTTT?
I mean the 'Imperialism' Casus Belli allows me to go to war with any country i wish. One of the 'fun / challenging' things with EU3/NA/IN was that you had to be lucky and work for the Casus Belli (e.g. with fabricate claims). But now it is no challange at all.

The quality of the casus belli is what matters now. Imperialism comes later and sucks because it forces players to pay twice the usual price in badboy.

Each casus belli has strengths and weaknesses. Sure getting "a" CB is easier than ever, but what does that matter if you end up paying 4 times the cost for provinces because you fought with the wrong CB?

If anything, its harder than ever before to conquer the world without going into badboy wars territory. I managed mid 1750s WCs without badboy wars in IN; I dont think I can do it in HTTT. Sure, if you decide to "screw badboy" and go on a rampage, then it might be a bit easier. But then, who needs CBs?

Plus the National Focus system favors small nations and punishes large Empires. Thats some nice balancing right there.

It's easier to get Casus Bellis, but most of them will be useless to whatever exactly you want to do.

The system works. If you want to conquer that province, you need the right CB. And now you can't eviserate an entire country just because you have a claim on one province.

Unless something is done about it the holy war casus belli kind of breaks the system though. With it you can easily conquer entire continents while getting hardly any badboy at all.
The problem is that it's easily gotten and reduces both warscore cost and infamy cost heavily. I have it at 25% infamy still but changed it to require 50% extra warscore per demand rather than 50% less which seems to work a lot better :).

all the cbs do is remove the stab hit. anyway, I have had some trouble finding cbs for the nations I want to fight.
They also make it cheaper in WS to take certain provinces, or limit you to only taking certain things in the peace deal, or make it free to get certain things in the peace deal while making it full price for other things.
