Hey all,
just a little question; how does the 'inheritance' of wars go for the emperor of the HRE?
One of the emperors declared war on me. Since I had been saving up money for the inevitable demise of my 73 year old ruler I went on a bit of a killing spree. I killed 4 or 5 emperors in the span of a week. The war didn't stop though.
The last emperor standing (when I ran out of money) didn't have any claims on my stuff anymore. He was at 100% warscore for a LONG time. I always figured that once they reach 100% you auto-surrender. So not sure what was going on.
As soon as my king died (I had an income of 30 gold/month, so I kept saving up for more asasination attempts), my new ruler auto-surrendered within a day.
I've pulled this off before, and the war ended inconclusively after I killed the second emperor that time.
So basically the following 3 questions:
- how far down the line are emperors supposed to inherit the war
- was it somehow bugged up that I didn't auto-surrender?
- was it somehow bugged up because the emperor was not supposed to have inherited the war?
thanks in advance
