Hello.

I am the queen of Ireland and I am married with the soon to be emperor of the hre matrilineally. I am very excited of becoming emperor next generation however I am a noob and need some tips of what to look out for and what to do to secure this fate even more. Thank you. :)

First off, define "soon to be emperor". Is there actually a concrete reason why your husband is about to inherit? If not, see if you can make it happen. If you can't, do your best to keep him safe, unfortunate things tend to happen in these kinds of situations.
Next, do you already have a child with him? Is that child your as well as his primary heir? If either of you have prior children from different marriages, get to the murdering. If you don't have a child yet, seek ways to boost your fertility (WoL focuses!) while you still can.
Now, this is probably a stupid question since you undoubtedly already checked, but is the HRE on primogeniture? Make sure it stays that way; form an alliance now if you can and renew it when your husband inherits, come down hard in support against any faction trying to change the succession law or install a claimant.
Once your husband has inherited the title, and your son is the heir, resist the temptation to kill your husband to put your dynasty on the throne sooner - an adult is way better at keeping hold of the throne than a child.
Finally, do what you're presumably already doing; grow the strength of your realm. You'll need it, because now you've got two countries to defend and still quite a while to go before you take direct control.

Not sure if it will work but you can use the elective monarchy to choose your dynasty son as heir if he becomes emperor. If you die you should continue being emperor of the HRE and king of Ireland. Take a look on the HRE inheritance laws because it will only work if it is gavelkind/primogeniture or elective and he is elected and that is not going to be easy.

You'll also inherit the emperor counties. So basically is like a starting a new game as HRE emperor. But it's a lottery. I don't think it will happen TBH.

This is what I meant. Your husband being the heir right now is not nearly good enough, knowing the AIs habit of messing things up. His father needs to die as soon as is possible without causing major rebellions.
Then your husband has to live long enough to produce a son with you and see him grow up, without switching his succession law. You're a bit more flexible on your end with regards to making that son your heir, which is good because its harder to kill your own children.
As soon as that son and heir is an adult, you'll be hoping that your husband and your current character die as quickly and simultaneously as possible, to minimize the AIs opportunities to screw things up before you get to enjoy the fruit of your labor.

Yep. However the second the kaiser died the heir changed and suddenly I lost my shot at empress/emporer. :( Atleast conquest in wales in going good.
