As title says. I am playing Austria, and I turned Brandenburg (poland etc. feed) and Lorraine (france feed) into marches. They take up a dipslot even though they are HRE vassals. WAD?
HRE Marches count as relation WAD?

Hmmmm. You're right. Even after passing Erbkaisertum, Marches count against your Diplomatic Relations limit.
Hadn't noticed before since, frankly, the situations where a March is more desirable than a vassal seem few and far between. I guess one of the few situations would've been to make your semi-permanent HRE vassals into Marches. But if it's WAD, we're back to very few situations where people are actually going to designate Marches.
Yes I revoked privilegia, and because of that I thought it would be useful to turn a couple of vassals into strong fighting nations. Oh well, i have 8 relation slots anyway
