Hello everyone

I'm playing an Austria to HRE campaign. I had some bad luck with a lot of regencies and a heirless emperor dying at 24. Luckily I'm emperor again but another problem comes up.

My heir is female. Since I am currently is the Age of Reformation and the emperor was AI, my IA is very low so I can't use a pragmatic sanction. Is there a chance that I will get a male heir?

Version: 1.22, I do not have Rights of Man, Mandate of Heaven, Third Rome, Cradle of Civilization

If you can't disinherit, can't make your heir a general (female heir) and can't enact Pragmatic Sanction, you're a bit screwed, yes. But you can always regain emperorship later on.

Yeah, but I'm in a bad position to do that. I have a personal union with Bohemia and Hungary and I am allied with Commonwealth, Spain, Bavaria and Brandenburg (both electors). So normally my succession was guaranteed.

When I lost the emperorship, I got immediately stuck in a French-Spanish war where France was joined by the Ottomans, Savoy and Tuscany. So I have a de facto truce with all my neighbours.

Happy happy joy joy.
