i have seen strange screenshot where a catholic american indian state was elected emperor for this exact same situation, with some player influence
To be honest, i would rather see the HRE disband itself then being forced to elect a random catholic state as emperor. I mean, how realistic is this?
Next thing we know japan or kongo gets elected HRE emperor without player influence... No offense to Japan or Kongo, of course.

It never gets old. I agree, though--it's beyond absurd that some random non-European tag can become emperor (I couldn't even see the tag on the map until I declared war on Cologne...).
You can't tell me as Sweden you had NO player interference there. you must've helped destroy the HRE.
