Ryzen 3600xt, RX 580 8GB VRAM, 32GB 3200 megahertz ram, and an SSD. Upgrading from a laptop that probably would crash on the average AAA game launcher.
You're specs are actually quite similar in power to mine except for the graphics card (mine is quite a bit more powerful). Should run quite well considering HOI4 like all Paradox games is CPU limited not GPU limited. So having an older average GPU isn't as much of an issue than if you wanted to play new AAA games. 32GB of RAM is way more than enough for a game like HOI4 (or really any game as of 2020). The SSD doesn't do much except maybe speed up loading/saving a bit, but I don't think it does much to the tick rate in game. I don't have any issues running vanilla HOI4 faster than I can possibly micro. Now if you get into mods, that's a whole different story (Looking at you Millennium Dawn).Ryzen 3600xt, RX 580 8GB VRAM, 32GB 3200 megahertz ram, and an SSD. I feel that, I wish millennium dawn would have outright just crashed so I didnt have to play on the equivalent of speed 1 for hours before giving up, would have saved me quite some time. You're specs are actually quite similar in power to mine except for the graphics card (mine is quite a bit more powerful). I don't get people that don't upgrade to 32 GB ram, its a really good way to future proof your pc and cheaper than literal dirt right now. Also one final thing, with a pc like this, how much will my pc struggle in 1943+?You're specs are actually quite similar in power to mine except for the graphics card (mine is quite a bit more powerful). I mean i get that, but I feel people not saving an extra 50 bucks is really hurting pc gaming as company’s have to optimise it to low end standards instead of mid end or even high end which holds back the performance of people who are willing to commit a little more to gaming. I didnt mean it as an attack on people who arent willing or straight up cant buy it i was just saying its a really good investment that most people who care about gaming enough to build a pc In the first place should be willing to make. You think maybe money?![]()
