How we will able to mod generals portraits?

With generals portraits being draws instead of photos how will be modders able to add generals? Because it would look horrible to have a custom general using a photo while the rest of characters are draws.

It will be freely moddable, and the beauty of the portraits will only depend of the drawing skills of the modders

I hope your not suggesting that they should use less nice pictures to make modding easier....
