I play as germany, have conquered the entire european mainland (except a few smaller countries that i allied with)
I am now at war with russia, and my armies are way stronger than the russians.
My problem is just that the russians have a airforce i cant do anything against. They bomb everywhere, systematicly decimating my armies one by one, preventing me from gathering enough strength to do any serious advance, and reduce the supplies of my defending armies so they can not hold against the russians.

I got no club how i get an airsoft i can use to beat the russian airforce, or how i control my own aircraft so they actually do combat against other aircraft.
No matter what type of aircraft i build or what order i give them, they just don't do anything, and the enemy is free to roam whereever they want.
Do i really have to tage every single little aircraft and make a mission "air superiority" for every single piece of land? Or are there a way to make the airfleets actually do something themselves and manbye even attack enemy aircraft by themselves?

This i seriously annoying me, it makes the game impossible to play :(

You just need about 8-16 Intercepters and kill all their bomber squads one by one region. Takes time, but works.
No autoflights. Sry. :p
Another solution would be AA brigades. Tier II doenst slow down ur units and has decent bonus that will hurt their planes, even if you have only medium sized stacks. :D

you'll need to form up fleets of aircrafts, the max you can form up is 4. Air superiority doesn't cover a single province, it covers a small area (turn on the area map mode to see the effects).

Fighting with single units is probably a very bad idea, cause you're gonna be mostlikely outnumbered every time an air encounter happens. Also, attaching escort brigades to your troops would probably be a good idea.

-Find the regions you need cover for.
-Then take your fighters and interceptors into groups under the proper commander.
-Have the group do air superiority over the area that is being bombed.
-Then use your bombers to bomb their airbases to keep them from repairing (unless your in doomsday because the ai doesn't stop to repair).
-Now with their airbases crippled use your bombers to destroy their troops and then use your ground forces to blitz their airfields and their planes are no more.
I believe there is something in the FAQ. I may have borrowed the strategy from there. I haven't read it in a while. :D

All of the above, plus...

- Put your fighter airgroups in four squadrons, I've found that 3 interceptors plus a fighter works well, and make sure that one of the airgroups has an Air Marshal/Air General when you have 2/3 groups covering the same territory.
- Research ALL the air doctrine you can. This was a mistake I made earlier on, but researching the Night Fighting bomber doctrine opens up all the fighter doctrines, then get Sperrle (in particular) and Udet on the case, and you will soon have great, and quickly recoverable, Org. Plus research aircraft assembly line when you can and put a decent Fighter-based chief in the Luftwaffe seat (ie not Goering), which will give you bonuses.
- Make some reserve airgroups and ship them in (rebase) shortly before you are about to retire some other groups to rest. Plus stick your Reinforcements slider up high (sacrifice Production to do it) and your units will recover remarkably quickly. Don't rebase too often as it will hit your org. You could also try putting an Org-recovery minister (can't remember the one to use, Bayerlein?) as Chief of Staff, which will give your units +20% to recovery.

I had a similar problem with the Brits bombing the hell out of me when I was playing Germany early on, but found that with a bit of co-ordination, and some overlapping fighter cover, their bombers were mashed to pieces and any fighters they sent up (as escorts or as fighter groups) were nicely dealt with by the fighters I'd put in my groups.

I would also concur with attacking their airfields with bombers at the same time. Again, group 3 bombers (tac I find useful) with one long-range fighter (esc) and they are pretty handy against enemy fighter groups and can do an amazing amount of damage to enemy airfields, which end up pretty unusable.

Having said all that, fighters/interceptors are expensive and lengthy to build and if you haven't built enough of them early on, then you are going to find it really difficult...

I had the same problem with the british airforce, I tried doing what you just said but they still overpowered me, probably due to numbers. So I instead resorted to launching a land invasion using my allies' forces to take their airbases. All their big airbases are located south of the uk and there is a very low amount of troops left to protect the area there. There was several provinces without any troops to defend it, so thats where I started my land invasion, and now france has a chance to recover.

This combined with logistical strikes against the infrastructure of the provinces that have the airfields will severely restrict the red airforce's operations.
