Title says it all. Can anyone explain how the moddir folder is used? I searched some of the paradoxes wikis but could find no consisten info on that. I know you create a folder for your mod inside it, and that it will somewhat work as the game folder. But how does the .mod file work?
 
you make folder, and a text file named same as that folder with .mod

in dot mod:
