How to use reactions on mobile devices?

Let's say I use the forum with a touchscreen and want to react with "helpful".

If I touch the like button sometimes I give a "like" reaction and sometimes I get the list of the reactions and can choose "helpful".

What is the correct way to react with "helpful", where I always get the result I want?

You maintain pressed the button until the reactions menu appears. Then you choose one.

So yes, thats the correct way.

If I press longer the text "Like" gets marked and I see options what to do with that text, that cover the reactions menu.

But I think I figured it out now. I have to press a bit longer, but not too long. (Not for 1 second) With some practise it works...
