So I'm playing a Cherokee ironman game, and I started to expand by colonizing NA. But all the newly occupied provinces turn into colonies and have 50% autonomy and all the bonus/malus a colony comes with. These "colonies" are bordering my own country, they are under my direct control, yet they are considered as colonies. How can I turn them into regular provinces?
