I've done a ton of work on a scenario where most of the changes are events. The vast majority of the changed events occur before 1940. I've run a test, fixed some stuff, and I got clear into May 1940 when I've run smack into a CTD wall. It occurs every single time around the end of May. The very first time it happened it was June 1, and I was zipping along on extremely fast. As I've loaded saves and tried to narrow it down, I've slowed the game speed down, and the day of occurrence has moved up a few days. It happens around May 25-28. I've looked at my event files and I don't see any events scheduled to run around that time.
As for the game situation, The Allies and Axis just recently went to war, within the last month. Germany took the wimp out options of all the pre-war events, including Danzig. Then they made a norma demand for territory to Lux, Lux conceded, and that tripped Allied WE to 100%. Within a few days, Allies DOWd Germany. A couple weeks go by, and Germany attacks Netherlands. Germany conquers Netherlands continental provinces and is moving troops into Belgium when the CTD comes. I don't know what might be going on in Africa or elsewhere in the world, as there are several smaller countries involved in the war.

How can I troubleshoot this?
