How to switch language settings? & CK2-EU4 Converter

1. Upon first starting the game on Steam, I chose German by mistake as my default language, but I would actually prefer English. Can anyone tell me how to switch the language without having to reinstall everything?
2. As a preorder bonus the CK2-EU4 converter was announced. How does it work, where do I find it? The pre-order package installs CK2 on Steam, but my primary CK2 installation which has all the DLCs is a GamersGate version. Are they compatible?

1. Edit MyDocuments / CK2 / settings.txt accordingly

2. There have been a million threads about this in the main forum, but basically no they are not - like all DLCs you must get it from the same place as the game; IIRC there's an offer in one of the main forum threads to contact Paradox and they'll help you out.
