How to start the console?

Already tried with ` and § .
The wiki says also "Shift 2 " ( that is " on my keyboard )

Which is the correct key to sequence ?

it really depends on your keyboard layout but generally it's the key under ESC, unless otherwise defined. e.g. for US layouts it's ~, for german layouts it would be ^ etc..

thanks guys, already tried with "the key under the ESC" , as well as the ~
without any success.
probably another "youth problem" (I'm on linux ) given that I've no similar problem with eu4/hoi/stelly etc..

Are you using a laptop? I don't know if this still happens, but when I used to game on gaming laptops none of the keys that were supposed to open the console worked. I never figured out why, and IIRC if I plugged a normal keyboard into the laptop it worked then.

Doesn't work for me neither. Tried switching to different keyboard layouts. I'm not playing ironman mode.

I think It is a different issue. Most likely caused by the Linux version.

If you are playing in ironman mode, the console will be disabled. This is an obvious point for some, I know, just a friendly reminder.

It's a bug on linux version.Paradox working on it.It will be fixed in later patch.Here is the report:
