Increase autonomy in your provinces with base unrest. Then wait for Shah Rukh to die. When he dies wait for the inevitable independence war and declare war on Transoxiana when their allies won't join. When you're done with that war, snipe the gold mine from Kazan. After you've done all this it's just snowballing.

There's a gold mine in Kazan and it's right on the border. That should be the first priority. If you want to swap out of a horde relatively quickly, go south and form the Mughals. You'll become an Iqta and your tech group changes to Muslim. You can also form Bukhara to become an Iqta, and then form the Mughals from there. Mughals are a very powerful country and idea set. If you like the idea of being a horde for some time I'd go west to Crimea or Scandinavia. You want to border someone in Europe for institution spread. Raze everything except gold mines and possibly centers of trade, or stuff in India if you want to be the Mughals.

Don't be afraid to use vassals. Coring everything and unrest can be tiresome when you are behind in tech levels and need to constantly be at war. I learned that the hard way in my recent Great Horde game. Just don't vassalize other hordes.

You have to move rather fast as Uzbek.

1: Release Sibir as a vassal. You don't have the manpower to waste on these rebels. Re-intergrate them ASAP to dodge rebels. You can't be their overlord when you become Bukhara; and who needs DIP as a landlocked Horde anyway?

2: I like to smack Nogai quickly. They often lack allies; and by smacking Nogai; you can then raise relations with the Cucasians to get some spread of Feudalism via the Caspian [And yes; it spreads via the Casipan]

3: Make sure you attack Transoxiana while they are fighting the Timurids. You need the province of Bukhara to form Bukhara; which kicks you out of Horde status for free.

4: Try to jump on Kazan and snipe their gold mine. Ideally while Muscovy fights them.

It's 1451, i took the provinces from transoxiana with higher dev and relesead Sibir to avoid rebels, he is converting the tengri land for me, sadly i lost the border with Kazan, now i'll have to wait for him to claim the Gold Mine, so i can take feudalism. Thanks!
