I'm in the larval stages of modding Russia's popfiles to make about 60% of their laborers and farmers slaves (i.e., serfs) in the (VIP) GC. I ran a test to see if I was doing the popfiles themselves right with a modded moskwa.csv, and initially it was working fine. However, a day into the campaign the slaves reverted to free farmers and laborers. It occurred to me that slavery has to be set, somehow, but it's that last bit I'm unsure of. So before I go off into the scenario files and screw things up because I don't really know what I'm doing, I figured I'd ask if anyone here knows how.
(You can sound off on whether you believe Russian serfs should be slaves or not, but bear in mind I'm going to do it anyway. Probably the Hungarian ones, too.)
