Hi all.

On PC you can check piracy detailed information for each system by moving mouse cursor over skull icon:

But I haven't found any possibility to do the same on console, and it annoying (PS4 in my case).
On Stellaris Console wiki it's clearly stated: "Piracy Suppression: Fleets automatically decrease Piracy in the systems they are located in when Max Piracy is less than Piracy Suppression."

So it means that these numbers are used in piracy mechanic on Console, and there should be an option to check them. Otherwise how can you be sure that yours fleet Piracy Suppression will be enough to suppress pirates in specific system?

I really want to see these numbers as simple gray and red skull icon doesn't give me enough clue: "Should I already worry about piracy and move fleet there or upgrade systems protection, or I can wait for 1-2 years more and finish some combats with enemies?".

Please help me :)
Maybe I'm just blind and haven't found this simple option jet?

I'm almost positive that you can hover over the skull emblem on a system and get that same infographic as the PC gives you.

At least, I know I've seen that data before on console, and I'm pretty sure that's how I viewed it.

I've tried to hover on skull before, but no popup is displayed for me. And I've tried different systems - with and without stations, with red and with gray skull, by trying to zoom in and out.

In trade route map you see only piracy suppression of capital sector, but you don't see exact numbers of piracy suppression on each trade hub you only see sculls, so you don't know in advance how much trade can pass in each trade hub before piracy will affect it.

Hi,

I found a way to see the piracy tooltip popup on PS4...but you're not going to like it :-(

Before you follow these directions please make sure you save your game! This method causes a bug to occur 100% of the time when I've done it.

1. Ensure you're in the Galaxy view (as opposed to System view).
2. Open the trade route map as normal.
3. Press Options on your controller to bring up the pause menu.
4. Press Circle to close the menu, then press Circle again to cancel out of the left-hand sidebar.
5. You should now be able to move the cursor around the Galaxy and see the piracy tooltip by hovering over the red skulls next to individual systems. However, you might also find the only control options available to you now are moving the view around and advancing time. The d-pad could be disabled meaning the game is unplayable. Fortunately the pause menu still works so once you've made a note of all the piracy values you can re-load and carry on.

Hope that helps for now! Meanwhile I'll get the bug reported.

You are genius - good workaround! Thanks a lot. At least I can analyze info now, and game reload is not a problem.
BTW - no need to reload the game - pressing "X" button when piracy tool-tip is displayed returns game to normal state.
