How to sacrifice to Odin?

I love the game so far, and have been playing as a Nordic religion, worshiping Odin and all that. I was pretty sure that you could sacrifice prisoners and enemy generals to Odin for a buff, and I’ve seen a few people mention it. I am only a few hours into the game, so do I have to become the head of the religion or do I need certain dlc’s. I already have all of these

Ruler designer
Sword of Islam
Legacy of Rome
The Old Gods
Holy fury
Way of Life

Great Bloot is what you are looking for - you should have prisoners before you start it or expenses will go out of hand.

Another opportunity you will have as promoted member of a warrior lodge. You can sacrifice captured commanders from the enemy then.

You need The Old Gods for the first, Holy Fury for the second - so you already have the DLC needed.
