This is linked to my earlier post, it is the same video we are trying to get to work.
We have tried putting the video into dh/avi folder and replacing one of the files already there. But we get Bink Error!
Can anyone please fix the video so it plays in dh?

This is the command used to play intro video files (open cmd console, go to avi folder):
It should work without error when run from the console.

In DH only paradox.bik file contains actual video (the other two are empty video files).

Yes, by using this command,the video works. But when I launch through the launcher's still error. May be did I do wrong? I placed the bat file to avi. (in the screenshot)

just noticed: when I turn on the video via bat file there is no sound in the video

I renamed the video "paradox" and started the Launcher. It played the video, but there is no sound.
Of course, I removed the original paradox video first.
EDIT: I don't know if you have a better quality version JulianSol, but it would probably work now?
No idea about the sound.
Other dh music plays afterwards ok.

Following on from the above, instead I added the 500MB video from yesterday, renamed it "paradox" and it played, but again no sound, and the video is zoomed in to the president's face area.
Of course, I removed the original paradox video first.
EDIT: I don't know if you have a better quality version JulianSol, but it would probably work now?
No idea about the sound.

How did you do it? Just renamed the 'paradox'? Do you have Win7? I just tried all the work arounds that knew, including just renaming- nothing helped. Anyway - I'm glad the process has begun))

I could try to redo the video, but I don't know if I have the time. In January, a few days, I'm moving to another city, and in February, maybe in another country for a long time.So, if i have time 1,2,3 January (maybe, but no guarantee).
I did a clip from a video of a little quality, so the best quality I have not. (if only to alter, but not all video highlights from youtube high quality)

rename it "paradox"
it will play, but no sound.

O-O I want to swear)) But when I did, it really played! Although I was doing before just was a mistake, as in the screenshot.

I tried mixing the track you posted.
I tried it using the Rad Tools latest version.
I tried default settings,
I tried 16 bit stereo settings
I Smacked it
but it still has no sound. I have no more options.
I have PM'd Gukpa, as he has made videos before for dh. I asked him for any ideas as to why the sound does not work although the video does work.

@MartinBG May be you know? DH produces no sound in the video, what could be the reason? Maybe I did something wrong, maybe BINK doesn't recognize some audio formats?

All the game does is to call a 3rd party application (binkplay.exe) to play the video, so I could only guess on why there's no sound in your video (unsupported audio codec or settings seem like the most educated guesses to me).
