How to replace administrative array with planetary administration?

So I just conquered some machine worlds, and now I want to upgrade some of my buildings there, which requires a planetary administration. It doesn't exist any because of an administrative array being there. How can I create a planetary administration and perhaps getting rid of the old administrative array from the defeated machine empire?

You can't. 2.2.4 is bugged.

This is a gamebreaking bug and I had to stop playing the new beta patch. Conquered planets are useless as you can't switch the Capital Building.

If anyone made a mod to fix this, I would be glad.

The only way i found to change capital is by editing the save.Open save game file with winrar or 7z.Ctrl+f to find the name of the planet and now you can edit the planet capital.
"building_capital" to "building_hive_capital" or visa versa

It's not 2.2.4. It's in the live 2.2.3 and still not fixed in 2.2.4. One of the lovely NEW bugs they introduced.

So far the only way forums have found to deal with it is to re-settle the populations off the planet, which de-colonizes it, and then re-settle it with a colony ship.

This is the only way I could figure out to make captured Fallen Empire worlds functional.

Yeah, same with the Shroud building the spiritualist FEs have. There are several things to demolish these days, sadly.

It appear that Glavius made a Workaround to fix this gamebreaking bug. I will test it.

Glavius saving us once again.

FYI: Others have posted a way you can do it without the mod ... then again I hear the mod is so good that the Stellaris team should just pay Glavius to incorporate it into the base build of the game ...

I just resettle everyone and then re-colonize planet but if simply resettling to the point of collapse and then waiting a month works, that's fine too. It's not ideal but you can still play your game...
