Hello,

Been playing CKII for....5 hours? so yep I'm a total newbie. :p

Playing as Burgundy, I went for the Jerusalem crusade and ended up founding the kingdom of Jerusalem.
It's a great achievement I know, but I didn't want to stop being burgundy :/ is there a possibility to "separate" both titles (duke of burgundy and king of jerusalem) while retaining same ruler? Or shall I divide it between my heirs? (knowing that I got a primogeniture law :/ )

Thanks for your help.

You're character will always hold the highest title that he or she owns, and is not allowed to destroy it, which in your case is the Kingdom of Jerusalem. You could found the Kingdom of Burgundy (just make sure to hold the right lands), and then switch your primary title from being the King of Jerusalem to being the King of Burgundy since both are on the same level.

hummm ok, sounds logical. Then....

1) How do you switch titles? for example, before hand, I was duke of Flanders and duke of Burgundy..does that mean I could have changed between those two? how?

2) Humm, I'm playing on 1.06 so far...is it possible to create the kingdom of Burgundy in that version? I guess we're toalking about the oooold kingdom of burgundy, which was down the south fo France right?

Thanks again for your help

Burgundy has been in since first version and you can switch titles just by clicking on a title (e.g Duchy of Flanders) and there is a big button
-make primary title-

1.06 is the Empires patch so Burgundy should be a part of Francia but is controlled by the H.R.E (French Burgundy isn't in the Kingdom of Burgundy, confusing right?)
