Hey all, I did a clean uninstall and am still having troubles, when I go to launch I get a popup message from Steam asking if I want to allow game launch

'BATTLETECH is attempting to launch with the optional parameters shown below.

"-useCurrentSettings "

If you did not request this launch or do not understand these options, select Cancel'

And then it won't let me launch. If I hit OK, it tries to launch but crashes immediately and the popup reappears with no apparent change. It will do that as many times as I hit OK.

So how do I remove existing launch options? There is no obvious way to do it in Steam that I can see.

I meant for this to go in the bug reports section, oh well.

Also, when I open launch options in steam I have no fields other than the one to add new launch options, and I see no evidence of a way to remove existing options.

I thought that would be clear from my initial post, but the only responses I have gotten in the Steam discussion boards have been a simple 'just remove them' along with explicit instructions on how to find the launch options field.

That's exactly the problem, there is nothing there to remove.
