I'm standing in front of an "Available Racket Building" that says it can be purchased, but I see no option to do so.
How to purchase a building?

Uh, should just be right clicking, picking the buy option, then picking what you want it to be.
Yeah right click has no buy option. I am pretty sure I got the game into a bugged state because shortly after posting this, I discovered that the quest to get into a safe at a casino had morphed into getting the safe at "Available Racket Building" lol.
Going to start a new game.
Entirely sounds bugged. I can't really describe it more clearly because for me it is literally just right click a building (with a price tag over it) and the buy option is right there. I guess make sure you are in the same region and not looking at a thug occupied building but seems like a bug to me.
My sense was that the "buy" option is not on the menu if you don't have enough cash to buy it to begin with. It should be greyed out or otherwise denoted so we know that we need more cash on hand.
Actually, I've seen the purchase button on the building entirely absent when you click on the building.
It only shows up on the beige/orange buildings with a money sign floating over top. You have to get close too.
I know what a building for sale looks like. Sometimes you approach them and click on the icon and there is no sales button on the pop up. That was before the patch, I don't know if it was a temporary glitch yet.
Sorry. Not trying to accuse you of being unintelligent or anything. Just making sure you had seen the correct interface at some point before it bugged for reference.
