How to patch to 1.3b ??

Hi guys I have the vanilla HOI 2 patched to 1.3a (I don’t have doomsday), though I recently downloaded the improved AI patch from the developers to make it go to 1.3b

I downloaded the files, unzipped them and then copied these folders over the ones in the game directory, but when Im in the main menu it still says its only patched to 1.3a

Is there a step or something that Im missing here?

I also have the same problem, not sure how to upgrade to 1.3b.

Nope you should be fine. As I understand it, since 1.3b doesn't change the exe file the version number on the front screen doesn't change. At least I read that somewhere and since I have the same situation as you(1.3a didn't change)I will assume it is correct.

Thanks SBR for answering this and my other thread question so quickly.

I also noticed that I patched with the improved AI in middle of a campaign as Germany, and I noticed that after (having thought) installed the new patch, that Hungary researched ship assembly lines, the new patch states that it will prevent that very thing. So Im curious does it mean that I would have to start a new 36, 39, 41 etc campaign, for the new changes to take effect? just a rare event, or have I lost the plot?

You might have to restart a new campaign to get the new changes to take effect.
