Hello, I am new here (I had an old account actually but I didn't come here very much but that was sometime ago and I literally can't remember my username or password) I own darkest hour and I have enjoyed many modifications for the game but now I want to make my own...actually not even a big deal all I want to know is how to make events/decisions. I don't know anything about programming but this is all I want to know. Also knowing how to add a picture for an event/decision or altering the pictures of some ministers would be nice to know ;) and how to add ministers, and alter their personalities too.

So not that much to ask for, I tried finding information but I could not (I probably just suck at searching for stuff) but if you could give me any links or just tell me that would be awesome! I spend a lot of time on this game.

Thank you!! I really would appreciate it. I'll try to come back to this forum a bit more often, Iv'e always been a lurker for the mods anyway.

I think your best bet would be to start here http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?725734-Eventmaking-Guide Master, but once you get to the User Mods board you'll find several other threads that might well be useful. You'll also find some very helpful people who'll be pleased to help you out if you can give them enough information for them to understand exactly what you're trying to do and what, if anything, is not working for you. Modding most individual events isn't frighteningly difficult with that sort of support, but in DH many events are part of 'event chains' and changing an individual event within chain can break things. Hence MrL's warning.
