How to maximize speed of integrating fully united France?

I have France in a PU under me as Byzantium. I have Diplomatic Ideas maxed out, max stability, max legitimacy, The Underhanded Diplomacy Act, Professional Diplomatic Corps, relations (barely) at 190 despite their eternal Hostile Attitude because of 'Competing Great Power' malus, and a Diplo Rep Advisor. Attempting to integrate them, estimate by the game, will take 40 years.

... Yeah... so, is there any way at all to make it go faster? Do I need to take Influence as well for the extra +2 Diplo Rep? I honestly can't see that really making too much of a dent.

Because they're colonizing, I can't inherit them because their nation size keeps fricking growing despite being unable to conquer anything.

Influence is the most important IG for diploannexing, since it reduces the cost, and thus also the time. But do You really want to integrate 2nd best military nation in game?

40 years seems quite legit for France, I integrated a an overfed Circassian vassal for around 20 years, and they are nowhere near compared to France in terms of power

Tell me about it ,i feed them a little to much and when i saw that it would take aprox 30 years to integrate ciracassian ...

I think it's way more then reasonable to integrate one of the strongest millitarry power in the world in just 40 years,but the question still remains Why the hell would you want to do it?

I guess he wants to become the strongest military power himself =)))

Because I'd rather direct their armies myself than watch them bleed manpower against the Brandenburgian super-army nightmare. I've nearly lost four wars because of warscore from battles by the time I manage to make it north.

Maybe it's just my ai having fun as france always since they always seem to be a super mega blob.And to be fairly honest i never saw the Branderburgian Nightmare become true ,not even after the lucky nation buff ,they just seem to get crushed in each of my game while France shines and takes on the entire europe single handed.

Brandenburg managed to conquer half of Northern Germany in my game. And Bohemia. And Denmark. And half of the Prussian region.

Yeah, they're a problem, but I've been too focused on killing the Ottomans (done), the Mamluks (underway), and keeping my union with France stable (been 50 years). Now that I can actually focus on them, it's too late.
