Since the release of Industries, I'm not really sure how to go about making my farms. I'm from the UK and farms tend to be of very different shapes and sizes, which I think looks alot more aesthetically pleasing rather than large rectangle fields.
I've tried building large rectangle fields to see how it looks, and it doesn't look bad. However the extreme amount of traffic produced is horrific. Not just that, but for one "Field" which in this case would be several small fields combined together to simulate an actual size of a field generates a vast number of jobs. 16 workers per small field. It's almost impossible to make small rural farming villages as it requires almost an entire city to meet the worker demand.

Does anyone know of a mod fix for the worker requirement and have any suggestion on how to use the new farms / mod that can help create more organic looking farms?

CustomizeIt! works fine in regard to worker numbers as far as I know.

As for more organic looking farms, nowt at the mo, but you never know what the Workshop is up to.
