How to make events for UXX countries?

I've created a country that works pretty well. I've gaved it a tag: U10 but I can't make any event for it workable.

Any single event for that country don't want to fire. Even if I'm typing its numer into console.

Did I miss something or it's just doesn't work?

events for the Uxx tag should work as well as any others.

I assume you have created a new event file to put your events in?

If so have you also made an entry in the events.txt so that the game reads your event file...

I've tried both ways. Creating new file and adding info about it to that file you mentioned and also just pasting event to already existing file.

Is the Uxx nation playable? If the nation is working and the events are not, then I suggest posting your event and someone will look at it, there are probably errors in it.

The event work fine for another nation (I've checked it for Poland)

Problem is that the game must be saved and loaded. And then everything works OK.

Watch as well for techs being researched by the country disappearing.
The succeding country might have trouble researching that particular tech

In case of this country and circumstances it is even better.
