Sing to the tune of "Animal" by Def Leppard

A rich land
South of the Swiss
You this place leave can't
You always back miss
We are the sturdy ones
On Europes map
We smash French lungs
And beat that British lad
I fight for you

I got to decide on my own
Whoa-oh
I need more men don't need advice
Whoa-oh
And I rule, and I lead, and I reign
Italy
And I rule, and I lead, and I reign
Italy

jumalanluvattusaapas.jpg

Reviving
With my skills the old Rome
I command my loyal things
With a manly tone
Im battling for fascism
And commandments ten
There is zero schism
Yeah, amongst my men
I never weep

I got to decide on my own
Whoa-oh
I need more men don't need advice
Whoa-oh
And I rule, and I lead, and I reign
Italy
And I rule, and I lead, and I reign
Italy

Huh!
Oh!
Fight wolfs baby
Fight tough
Gonna hunt Brits like an, uh, uh, animal
Gonna take your land n' pride

And so I reach holy trinity as my musicAAR trilogy gets its third member. "This guy is crazy, he has 3 AARs of exactly same pattern going on at the same time!" you must think. Well, that is somewhat true but this AAR will only somewhat delay updates on the other 2 ones.

For newcomes, this is an AAR that is only told with songs as we see above. HoI2 simply doesn't provide me the varied material CK and EUIII does so I need to be more creative here. So this AAR will have little to do with Mussolini unlike thread title and that propagandist introduction indicates, and not even that much with Italy but I have to gather all global news to get enough material. So you can expect some updates from Chinese wars or Battle of Britain that have nothing to do with Italy.

This is played with vanilla HoI2 1.3b update. I will try to avoid all the exploits to make this more interesting. I will only use nofog to get pictures from China and Japan but will not use it to reveal locations of British ships for instance.

I like the title :D

Good stuff, it's a trilogy now then- I knew it was coming- all that's lacking is Victoria...haha, I like the intro. The Italian animal. Let's see how fierce they'll be. My guess is very.

Ahhhhhhhhhh! The psycho relyricAAR has invaded my forum!

Haha. Nice to have you aboard ES. Very nice start. Ah hell, it was great.

I have some sad news: our WC is infected by something I cannot translate due to failure of previous workers who were "fixing" our roof. My mother has had symptons already and is pretty much freaking about the issue so we have to move to a hotel for the duration of it being repaired. And my mother is unwilling to take my computer with us. So basically this means that I am unable to update for a period of time, most likely a long period taking into account the speed Finnish workers work. (It SHOULD be done in a week. I wish)

So I have basically 2 options now.

1. Completely forgot about AARs for the time being

or

2. Play like mad for the few hours I have left, take screenies and upload them ready to Photobucket. Then I can make updates at school but with much, much slower pace. So slow I propably can't get even one ready.

Anyway, I might as well comment away now.

Snake IV: Thanks for giving me an excuse to promote this AAR over CK and EUIII without seeming like an egoistic advertiser. :D

likk9922: It is basically a rip off from "How To Marry A Millionaire". I did it simply by going to wikipedia to browse various musical films to find a good title to rip off.

JimboIX: I haven't played HoI2 for a year so Italian animal might not be so fierce. I am actually a bit afraid of being capable to survive. But that is just a good thing.

I sadly don't own Victoria so I can't expand there. Id like to have it, though.

grayghost: Your forum? ;)

I liked the beginning, too. I have to hope I can draw some pictures out of the game to keep on going good. HoI2 isn't so good in that regard as CK or EUIII.

Llywelyn: In game I stick with Italy and majority of updates will be about it.

But I simply have to use other theatres as well. Italy is too boring to keep an entire AAR up on its own-

Ah...yeah...well, that may have been a bit overstated. :D

It was just my silly way of welcoming you to where I spend most of my time. I guess I kinda look at the HOI2 forum as my home. :p

Is that the view people have on posting links like this? In that case I'm sad. I'm gonna add a little in my sig.

That was a bit rushed so it doesn't fit the tune too good. But Kool is so cool it compensates everything I did wrong. Dang, that is one of the most happy-go-lucky songs ever and I love it.

grayghost: A bit?

Thanks for welcoming me to your hood. ;)

HoI2 was also my first Paradox game, though it has fallen to be my least favourite of the ones I own. It is too predictable to my taste. But it is still excellent compared to average game.

rcduggan: Thanks. There is more of this stuff in CK and EUIII if you feel bored. (See Snake, I am capable of promoting my AARs shamelessly)

Snake IV: Your sig makes a good point.

My post was made a bit jokingly. I would have noted about this AAR in my old ones but only after update. I felt it was unnecessary to make 1 post just for promoting this.

A good point. I though always am bothered by people not posting links even when I ask them to do so when they start a new AAR, so when I found this on my own I didn't concider.

Good times! I like the upbeat tempo compared to the subject matter.

Ha, that was a good one.

grayghost: A bit?

Okay, maybe it was way overstated. (I am now humbled. Show mercy on a poor idiot)

You are right in its predictiability. One of these days I am going to pick up that thing called EUIII. ;)

Sing to the tune of "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" by Sylvester

You see I've been planning
Revenge cunning
Since your Nineteenth
Century feat
When you us crushed
And Italians blushed
Move on my troops
Beat the fools
Make them feel
Pain real
Make them feel
Pain real

You make me kill
Say your last will
You make me kill
Say your last will

igotabababayoudonthaveababa.jpg

When we finish this war friend
It will be the end
Of your command
Fear me like a lamb
You'll be my puppet
And Im your head
And you obey me
Like you
Should

Oh you sign this deal
And to me kneel
You sign this deal
And to me kneel

Make me feel
Mighty king
Make me feel
Mighty king
Make me feel
Mighty king

I feel great
I feel great
I feel great
I feel great
I feel great
I feel great

Oh you obey my will
I treat you ill
You obey my will

I feel good
When you serve me
I feel good
When you please me
I feel good
When you serve me
I feel good

That turned out really good in my opinion. It fits the tune really nicely. And if I can mention two Italian invasions of Ethiopia in one disco song, the lyrics can't suck either.

Snake IV: Well, people usually put them to their sigs atleast. Some people might find it uncomfortable to advertise their work. I don't outright feel that way but I rather keep it rather low profile and tell about it with commenting.

JimboIX: That song is pretty much my new theme song. I have been listening to it almost non-stop last few days. It just is so GOOD. Why can't they make music like that anymore? The band really enjoys playing that and you can hear that. "Celebration" and "Funkytown" are the 2 songs you can't listen without becoming happy yourself.

grayghost: Mercy? Never! :D

I knew you didn't mean it but it was funny to poke you a little about it. ;)

EUIII has great potential but in its current state it can't beat EUII or CK. But I have no doubt that Johan will fix it and turn it into my dream. It is already very close to it.

HoI2 is a great game even with its predictability. It was my first Paradox game and know after not having played it for a year, it feels just awesome. I know that Germany will invade Poland and France but really planning my military strategy is refreshing after EUIII and CK that doesn't really allow really complex operations.

Ambitious, an interesting take on the fall of Ethiopia, glad to see the trilogy up and running on all cylinders.

Yeah, I know. ;) Just gave me a chance to play grovelling schmuck. :D

Oh, nice re-write on the lyrics BTW. :p
