Now my industry is too big and it cost a lot of resources. I want to reduce it so that more resources are saved. How can I do it?

Allocate more IC to production than needed (overproduction/wasted IC). This IC should not need ressources to feed.

Change ministers to those who do not add extra IC and instead appoint those that reduce consumer goods (CG) as an example
Move slider away from central planning towards free market
Both of these should reduce your IC total and reduce your CG daily requirement too
