How to join a warrior lodge of another religion?

1) I have a vassal (priest) who is a member of the Sentinels of the Light (Bon warrior lodge). (He is a Bonist himself.)
2) I am adult
3) Tribal
4) Pagan (reformed Romuva)
5) I'm not zealous
6) I haven't fled the initiation duel
7) I haven't angered the society (at least as far as I know)
8) The society probably has more than 10 members

So, all the criteria are met. Why can't I see the society on the list or anywhere else?

Also, my previous hero-level character couldn't choose military aspect, although he hadn't any lifestyle trait. The info bar said that '(X) Is not currently choosing a military aspect" as the reason. It went on for years, until he died. Is it because he inherited (I started to play as him), while he was choosing it and it lead to a bug?

Unfortunately none of my neighbours are members. But, as far as I understand, it's optional. You can also have a vassal who is a member.

What is better depends on the situation, but different certainly. For example, Romuvan lodge allows you to instantly build a fortification, instantly fill a garnison etc.. Suomonesko lodge allows to instantly call in large army. All the lodges provide different warrior traits (e.g., Forest ambusher). But the reason why I want to join a different lodge, is because I want to get another legendary bloodline. There's a 100 year cooldown for each lodge. And I just got one bloodline from my own lodge.

I don't think you can join another religions warrior lodge if your religion has its own warrior lodge. Convert to Christian or something else and you should be able to join the one you want, then you can always convert back.

Oh. well, I guess if I'm the religious head as well, that might be a problem. If only non-pagans can do this trick, I guess it explains why I couldn't do it.

beeing religious head is no problem, just Search for a old man without family and give him the title.
I figured beeing pagan is the easiest way to join all the Lodges as you can freely convert your wifes faith, so all you have to do is find women of other Lodges faiths.

I'm not sure the title would revert back to me. The succesion type is agnatic tanistry. If it works like Irish tanistry, I think there's a risk that the title goes to another member of my dynasty.

titles of vassal reverts back to overlord if you have no heir
thats why he suggested "no family"
by that literally he will not have ANY family. he will be only member of his line and if this happen game will revert title to you since no one else can get it
