There was a big thread just before release about the cost of mech parts compared to the cost of a full mech (from a mech store). Meaning the discrepancy.

a mech might cost 3 mill yet 3 parts cost 350k each ... while in theory the parts should be 1/3 value or 1/x whatever parts taking to = a mech.

anyone figure out how to code a change? - Id still like to buy a mech when I can but dont want to 'cheat'

I'm thinking you would have to go into the StreamingAssets/data/mech folder and change each mech individually. I haven't tried it yet but i'm guessing the simGameMechPartCost would have to be changed. Since the mech cost is also in the same json file, you could just divide the cost by 3 and change the simGameMechPartCost value to match but it would have to be done on a mech by mech basis.
