I was not cautious and won the crusade with the highest war score.

I am a Duke of Brittany. Now I am also a King of Andalusia. How can I give up the kingdom title and continue as a Duke of Brittany?

You can't, unless someone can usurp your kingdom title. It would be a somewhat gamey - RP screwing thing to actually provoke this.

Best option is to create the Kingdom of Brittany (you would definitely can) and give the title of Kingdom of Andalusia to someone whom you like and meets the requirements.

Andalusia is a tricky one I think the (kingdom) emirate can only be formed for muslims so I think you need to give each duchy away separately.

But apart from this, it's also that you can't give away your primary title, and when you are a one-kingdom king you are stuck to that title.

P.S. An arabic kingdom is a sultanate.

The whole point of giving it away is that I do not want to be a King. Before crusade I have sworn fealty to the French King and became Frankish, to help my diplomacy with other French Dukes. To create a Kingdom of Brittany I need to be breton... and even if I converted back - I still do not want to be a king.

Have two sons

Give one of the sons the Duchy of Brittany, the other inherits the kingdom upon death of current King.

Upon the death, save and resign the game.

Reload and in the select realm screen choose the Duchy and continue playing.

Change the law to elective and vote in someone outside your dynasty as king. Give the duchy title and transfer the count vassals to your son before you die, and you'll continue playing as him without being king.

Right, did not think about this. It's less of a workaround, and gives you a powerful ally.
