How to get rid of Nationalism?

I'm playn' Poland and i have pretty many provinces now. the thing is that most of then are revolting all the time cuz of the Nationalism thingy that gives them +3%... i have now 3 armies that have to jump up and down the whole time to fight the damn crime...

is it possible to get rid of that nationalism thingy? what should i do? i cant continue like this cuz that way its aint possible for me to declare any wars :-/

Every 10 years it will decrease with 1%. So basically, all you can do is wait. Or not conquer any non core provinces.

Nationalism 3% RR is not that much, since it is yearly. With 10 provinces you would have on average 1 rebellion every 3 years. You probably have more RR coming from religious problems, low stability and war exhaustion. Hover the pointer over the RR in the province info window (at the church) and it will tell you why you have RR.

There is nothing to do about nationalism RR, it goes away at -1% every ten years. Adjust your religion tolerance sliders according to your provinces (max for catholics, then fix it, then as much as possible for orthodoxs, and nothing for muslims). If you also have protestants, adjust accordingly and try to get rid of one religion by conversion. Rise your stability and give war exhaustion a rest.

Do not jump to fight the rebels. Let the winter wither them down so they are less dangerous.

I only got catholics (me) and loads of Othodox provinces. I just did set the religion bar as u suggested Fodoron and everything is nicer now... well, except the nationalism thingy but i guess i'll wait those 30 years

Nope, in time they will submit to your rule. You'll notice the revoltrisk fall to +2, +1 and finally to 0 in 10 or so years.

Can't do anything except wait 30 years, unless you want to release them as a vassal
