How to get notification when my units enter combat?

Where should I push or mark something to get this notification plz

In the pause menu, go to "Message Settings". In "To Me", find "When one of our armies is attacked by the enemy.", and in "From me", find "When one of our armies attack the enemy."

Searching for "armies" will get those settings exlusively in each category. I set them to popup and pause when I can be bothered to try that hard, and usually just popup the rest of the time.

Check which area of the screen you selected the notification to be shown. The options include a popup window and the sidebar, perhaps you chose the sidebar but don't have it expanded?
