We are all volunteers, and we come from the community. When the forum is in need of additional staff Castellon posts a recruiting thread for new demi's (everyone starts as a demi) and if he selects you... you get a custom avatar too.
It's a pretty posh job, work as much as you want with unlimited overtime (that pays double the normal wage of 0.00), from the comfort of your own chair. You get to (read have to) telecommute, and you can work in your underwear if you want. The staff I work with is are all awesome people, and we do have a lot of fun.

Any way to sign up for a notification on the next job opening? I think I'll be working over time over summer for that extra 0$! And from what I've seen the staff are awesome people, always very helpful and polite.
Also, I found a couple Byzantine flags in Victoria II, even a blue version
, and I even saw a Chi Rho flag inside of some sort of Red and Black banner, looked North German, but it was horizontal rather than vertical stripes so Idk. But I was wandering if they have a Byzantine flag do they by chance have a Roman one hidden some where?
Also how do we change our title? Or did they remove that from the new forum? In which case I am now forever the Lord Marshal of Camelot?
Most likely not. Though Vicki II has something like 1200 different avatars and most of them I have never seen used, so by picking one of the obscure of them there is a good chance you will find a unique one.*sigh* So I'll never get one?
You need to have been registered for 18 months to be able to change custom titles; there was a bug when the migration happened which allowed people who hadn't been registered for 18 months to change it, but that bug was later fixed. So you will be able to change it in ~10 months.
Stalk Castellon... er I mean follow him. I think that causes you to get notifications when he post, but not positive.
Don't think so. Isn't the follow function the same as friends on the old forum? Because if so then I can confirm you don't get an alert.
yes and no. I know on any existing "friends" you don't get alerts, but I have been told if you do a new "follow" you do get alerts

Hover over your username at the top right of the forums and then click "Your News Feed" or go directly to the News Feed page
On the News Feed page, you will see activity from all of the people that you follow.
As had a dad said it is because those you had on your friendlist before the migration doesn't show up in alerts. I weren't aware of that distinction by the forum so I thought the observed behavior was general.If only there was a thread that told you about fancy new forum features
