How to get better forum avatars?

Well, I'm going to use ckii avatars for examples here.

I'm currently stuck (to my knowledge) with duchy coat of arms as the only available to select as avatars. But, I have seen people with kingdom / empire coat of arms, and I'm wandering how they got them, as I would eventually like a Roman / Byzantine CoA. If anyone knows or a mod would like to comment, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Also kinda OT, but how did you register M&B Warband on Paradox? I got mine on steam so maybe I can't.

No probs, I got Warband on Steam as well, although I think I registered it a long while back when Paradox were still partnered up with Taleworlds.

You're not missing anything but the badge however as the forums are open and there aren't any avatars associated with the game here.

My heretic friend, i'll have you know that the game icons are of utmost importance ! For example, i have access to all the game forums with my current list of registered games…. but i'm still missing eight icons i'm entitled to (and i'd really love to know how @Had a dad managed to get his back)… and i'll pester the forum admins until i get them back !!!

For example, i have access to all the game forums with my current list of registered games…. but i'm still missing eight icons i'm entitled to (and i'd really love to know how @Had a dad managed to get his back)… and i'll pester the forum admins until i get them back !!!

You were unlucky in the forum migration then, because plenty of people regained their custom avatars. I believe the freekie is one, since I don't remember the EU flag from before the migration. And there is another one who has an EU flag.

Also some people who didn't get their custom avatars bag have them in the alerts lest; i.e. the avatar shown at the alert show the old avatar. Castellon for instance has a bolt of lightning shown next to him and Sleepyhead his old avatar. You might have that too; if you answer to this I can check it.

Have at least 3000 posts before ~2008.

What I meant is that people who hadn't had their custom avatar since the avatarocaust got them back with the migration; probably because they were on the files still. Yet some whose custom avatar still exists on the servers---like @Sleepyhead whose custom avatar is here

Also it appears that your custom avatar isn't on the servers anymore; at least it doesn't show when you quoted me; instead if just gave this one.
