How to force marauders, caravaneers and curators to be of a determined species? (e.g. humans)

I would like to play games with only humans, each empire representing a historical country from Earth (e.g. those from 272 BC like in Rome: Total War, from ww2, or today), or a fictional faction from a videogame (e.g. Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri).

However, I would like also to have the special factions to be humans as well, like the marauders, the caravaneers and the curators, rather than having them as aliens or removing them. This is something that I don't know how to do, as you can't select their composition. I tried to search for similar topics but the only ones I found end with no solution.

The only possible way for what I know seems to be editing save games, which could be tedious, I'd prefer something that initializes special factions as humans every time. Any suggestion? Many thanks!

Best regards.

Marauder species are created in common/solar_system_initializers/marauder_initializers, enclaves in the same folder but leviathans_system_initializers. Not sure about caravaneers, but most scripted species creation will be either in a system initializer, a scripted effect, or an event.

So I should edit them to force using a specific species, I guess.
Not too much complicated, surely better than editing a save game each time.
