How to fill my time?

I can't be playing this close to the expansion.
I'll be able to play Stellaris once the new expo for that drops, but my one or two days a week where HoI 4 just gets so much of the time are wide open now.

I think that the next expansion is going to make HOI4 feel like a completely new game: so much is being added or improved. Really looking forward to its release.

I'm trying to catch up on cheevos. It makes playing HoI bearable. Even though I want to play Qing Restoration so badly. I am (not so)secretly a Monarchist.

I can't stand 'old' HoI any more.
Even mods leave me thinking 'what's the point? Any acumen I build up here will be useless, saves invalidated before the next month is too far gone.'

That said, I'm excited to see what will come from the game, and how mods will change.

I've been passing time grabbing some of the DoD achievements I had left hanging for too long, but I totally see where you are coming from. So many thigns will be smoother that it makes the current experience pale by comparison. Sating my appetite with other PDX games tend to help.

I've been watching @Da9L playing the Ragnarok mod. I'm going to see how long I can last. Might keep me going for a couple of weeks.

I'm right there with ya! With the exception that I've been playing CitiesSkylies until the release

Go play Kaiserreich to do a brain cleanse and everything will be bright and fresh when the Tiger wakes.
