Hey,

I got this option ""demand duchy from liege" in the intrigue panel. There are 2 * for it;

*Liege must like you 25 (which he does after I payed him)
*Demense titel: desired title: Duke, by: Count Me

So that 2nd * is red; not yet accomplished, but I wonder why...and how of course I can accomplish it?
But somehow it looks like I can only do this -demand the duchy- when I am already duke :s

My Liege is the Duke, of the Duchy where I have 1 province, another count got 1, and my Liege has 1...

Anyone got some advise?

Maybe you need to have at least 50% of the counties in the duchy?

Making it basically "usurp duchy" except from your own liege, so you ask him instead >_>

I already start with 2/4...
But what happend now was, the duke got another primary title (don't know why), and I got a pop-up saying I now could indeed demand the duchy...

So I did click it, got a message saying the old dude agreed...clicked it away, only to find nothing changed:s
Still a cunt ;) damn, guess it's a bug thing...

Also was minor annoyed waging a war for someone else's claim (on the 3rd county), only to win the war, but not have him as vassal (he is vassal to the duchy, which I did not get:S) hahaha omg got screwed over this one too ;p

That's because the liege must be able to "give away" his title. In other words: He must have more than one title of his highest rank.
If he owns only one duke-title, he cannot give it away. When he gets one more, he can hand out one of them.
