How to delete my account?

Hi,

I can´t find this option anywhere in the user options. So do I need to e-mail a moderator/an administrator to get this done?

You can't delete your account. I could ban it or something similar maybe. Why do you want it deleted?

Some people tend to limit the information trail they leave behind on the internet. When I register on a forum which I do not plan to visit regularly (which is not the case of PI forum for me) I welcome the "delete" option. It helps to reduce spam, customized advertisement based on your "profile" and also decreases the risk of violation of laws which could be anything ranging from anti-piracy laws to laws concerning "anti-government" activities, be it contemporary Burma or possible future Europe
