How to create a mod folder in the documents area.

Hello everyone and sorry for the odd thread title but I have little issue and I was wondering if anyone knows what to do.

I have the Rome game and I wanted to install a mod for it but I do not have the mod folder in the paradox folder located in the documents area of the computer. The folder is there for ck2 and eu4 but I used steam mods for them so I did not do anything to them. I wanted to know how do I manually create a mod folder for Rome so I can put mods into it. I have been looking around but I have found any answers on how to make the folder (I am not a very bright person so I may have missed it.)

I did not know where to put this issues so I put it in the general discussion if that is okay, if anyone's knows how to do it I will be very thankful.

No idea myself how mods in Rome work.
I guess there is no mod folder and you might have to create a seperate game folder and overwrite the original files, but's just a guess based on Ck1 and Eu2.

Okay by what i found you simply have to create the 'mod' named folder in Documents/Paradox
Interactive/Rome, as common nowadays. Not sure if this is also the case without the Vae Victis expansion.

That's really basics, but anyway:

In the Explorer window top left at FILE - drop down menu -> NEW- > FOLDER
or
right click inside the folder window where the content of the folder shows and you will get the same as in the drop down menu.

Wait no, it should be the mod folder in the games directory, so if on Steam, then in Steam-steamapps-common-Rome.

By the way if you are in a forum with old posts, don't forget to click on THREAD DISPLAY OPTIONS
and then to the right on SET OPTIONS, to see any old page and thread older than a year.

Otherwise old threads and pages are hidden.

Hi there thanks for the reply, I did not know if anyone would bother to read the thread if I put in Rome form because it is quite an old game but you are right it should have gone there in the first place so thank you for that. Also thanks for telling me about the mod issue it will help me so thank you again.
