How to convert ck -eu2 for the dummy

I've been trying to convert a game from ck into eu2, but it's just not working. I'm useing visat and I get eu2 to work but not the games from ck. I've tried one converter but it didn't work or I didn't use it well. So is there anyone who knows the ABC of converting saved games, step by step cause I realize I haven't got all the cookies in the jar when it comes to stuff like this.
I have this huge Kingdom of Jerusalem just waiting.......
